In recent years, yacht manufacturing, maintenance, and marina facilities have expanded rapidly along Vietnam’s coastline. Demand for large yacht handling and lifting equipment has continued to increase steadily. To meet strict requirements for high loads, safety, and operational stability, HSCRANE customized a 230 ton travel lift solution for a Vietnamese client. Production and shipment were successfully completed recently. This project represents an important HSCRANE practice in Southeast Asian marine and yacht equipment markets. It fully demonstrates HSCRANE’s comprehensive capability in large non standard lifting equipment customization.
This project serves local Vietnamese yacht and vessel maintenance companies.
The equipment is mainly used for yacht lifting ashore, transfer, and launching operations. During early communication, the customer emphasized the following requirements:
•Safe lifting and transfer of yachts up to 230 tons
•Adaptation to coastal high humidity and high salt spray environments
•Smooth and highly synchronized hoisting and traveling operations
•Long term operation with reliability and convenient maintenance
Based on these needs, the customer required a proven and reliable travel lift solution. The customer also placed high expectations on manufacturer experience with large scale projects.
Based on site conditions and operating requirements, HSCRANE engineers designed a complete 230 ton travel lift solution. The equipment adopts a rational structural layout and high strength structural design. Stable performance is ensured even under full load conditions. During engineering design, matching between hoisting and traveling systems was carefully optimized. This ensures uniform load distribution during lifting and movement, reducing stress on yacht hulls. Environmental adaptability for long term outdoor operation was also fully considered. A more reliable and durable solution was delivered to the customer.
The 230 ton travel lift balances safety and practicality in technical configuration. Key systems are optimized specifically for large yacht handling applications. The equipment shows excellent stability and controllability during hoisting, traveling, and braking. It meets refined operation requirements for high value yachts. Operational convenience and safety protection were emphasized during design. Optimized control systems improve on site efficiency and reduce misoperation risks.
During manufacturing, HSCRANE strictly followed large lifting equipment production and quality control procedures. Steel structure fabrication, welding control, assembly, and commissioning followed established standards. Each process was inspected and recorded according to quality requirements. Before delivery, multiple critical inspections and commissioning tests were completed. All systems met design requirements, ensuring reliable overseas installation and operation.
Considering the large size and long transport cycle, a dedicated export packaging plan was developed. Key components adopted reinforced and protective measures for marine transportation. During shipment, the project team closely coordinated with logistics partners. Loading and transport plans were carefully arranged. The equipment was successfully shipped to the Vietnam project site on schedule. Overall project progress was fully ensured.
